I made it!
Unfortunately I wasn't able to stay the night down at the Phantom Ranch at the bottom of the canyon close to the river (waitinglist spot didn't work out), but I definitely made it as far down as I could in one day… I also definitely felt that in my legs for the rest of the week haha
